Country music singer Trisha Yearwood has revealed that she is keen to make a debut in the Broadway once her career slows down.
Although the Grammy-winning entertainer has enjoyed guest roles on American shows like Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman and the Emmy-winning legal drama, JAG, she still gets goosebumps thinking of acting in a Broadway play.
Yearwood revealed that Broadway had been her lifelong ambition.
"There's a lot of things I still want to do. I really do just love to sing. But I like a lot of different kinds of music and I feel like I'm at a place now where hopefully I can do some different things. I want to do an acoustic record. I want to do a standards record. I want to do Broadway... I like (acting). I like stepping out of my comfort zone," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"Going to New York for a year right now is not an option, but it would be something I'd like to do in the future," she added.
