The epic conclusion to the Baahubali saga has released and it has been on a record breaking spree since the day it hit the theatres. While the lead actors of the 2-part film franchise, namely, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj, Tamannaah Bhatia etc, have been gathering much praise, the director, SS Rajamouli is not far behind.
The helmer has been applauded by the audience and the critics alike for his vision, but do you know the salary that Rajamouli gets for the epic saga? Well, word has it that the director, who has invested 5 precious years of his life, time and energy to make both Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, gets one third share in the profits made by both the films. Apart from that, the makers have also covered his personal expenses for all the 5 years that he was involved in making of the films.
Despite spending a whopping sum of Rs 450 crore on making the film and other expenses for both the films, the makers made huge profits. And as per the agreement, SS Rajamouli will be taking home one third of the profits. To begin with, the satellite and other rights of Baahubali 2 in all 4 languages were sold for Rs 438 crore.
