Urvashi Rautela likely to play lead role in Prabhas-Saif Ali Khan's epic drama 'Adipurush'

Urvashi Rautela has been approached for Sita's role in the film which will be directed by Om Raut.

Urvashi Rautela is all geared up after finishing the shoot for her debut Telugu film, Black Rose. The actor recently hinted that even though it is a difficult situation, one's work cannot stop amidst this new normal. 

Urvashi who was last seen in Virgin Bhanupriya is likely to join the cast of Adipurush after the makers announced that Saif Ali Khan will be playing Raavan in Prabhas starrer film. Virgin Bhanupriya also featured Gautam Gulati and Archana Puran Singh in pivotal roles.

On the work front, Urvashi Rautela recently completed her shoot in Hyderabad for Black Rose which will be directed by Sampath Nandi, but as per the sources, Urvashi didn't return to Mumbai after and is in talks with much-anticipated film, Adipurush makers. 

According to the sources, Urvashi Rautela has been approached for Sita's role in the film which will be directed by Om Raut. If all goes well, Urvashi will be paired opposite Prabhas in Om Raut's upcoming mythological film. 

Apart from films, Urvashi was a huge help during the coronavirus pandemic as the actress had donated Rs 5 crore in May to help in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic saying that everyone needs to unite, come together and that no donation is too small. 

For the uninformed, Urvashi had posted on her official Instagram account to inform her fans about conducting a virtual dance masterclass. Her session was free for all those who wished to lose their weight and learn dance. The dance masterclass on TikTok connected her with 18 million people, and she received Rs 5 crore for it, which she donated.

Speaking about the same, the actress had said, "I am extremely grateful to everyone, whatever they are doing, not only to actors, politicians, musicians or professional athletes, but also to the common people, because we all need to be together, and we all need their support, and no donation is too small, and together we can help the world to beat this."
