Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan are soon coming up with their films Kushi and King of Kotha respectively. Both actors enjoy immense popularity among the youth, and their fans couldn't ask for anything better than seeing them together. Coincidently, both actors bumped into each other in a hotel in Hyderabad. They were promoting their respective films, and when they met, they decide to treat their fans with an informal chat video.
Dulquer dropped a video on his YouTube channel, titled Kushi X King of Kotha. In the 19-minute video, the two had a fun-filled conversation about their career and expressed their affection for each other. Vijay pointed out that after giving a lackluster actioner Liger, he's bringing a romantic drama, Kushi. And Dulquer, on the other side, is bringing a massy entertainer King of Kotha after the super-successful Sita Ramam.
Referring to the dismal box office collection of Liger, Vijay said, "I hope your action film does better than mine." The two then had a hearty laugh. Dulquer replied, "I hope your love story blows up like mine."
As soon as the video was released, several fans demanded to see them together in a film. A fan wrote, "Combo no one expected but combo we needed." Another fan added, "The collab we all needed these two guys was the reason I started watching Malayalam Telugu Tamil Industry films. best wishes to both of you." A netizen wrote, "I genuinely love both of them. Lovely brotherhood even better camaraderie."
Dulquer Salmaan's King Of Kotha will release in cinemas on August 24. Vijay and Samantha-starrer Kushi will release in cinemas on September 1.
