Harshita Ojha aka Veera who is playing the title role in the Star Plus serial Ek Veer Ki Ardaas — Veera will be making her film debut with Chennai Express. The six-year-old has already endeared herself to the viewers with her sweet disposition and cute relationship with her onscreen brother Ranvijay. “Even off the sets she is very close to him and they share many similar traits. Both of them don’t like cream in their milk,” says her mother adding that they look like real siblings.
Talking about Chennai Express, Harshita’s mother proudly says that it was just after shooting the promo of Veera that her little girl bagged the SRK film. “A couple of her pictures were sent, they liked it and chose her. Though her role is small — she plays Shah Rukh’s niece - it’s a big thing to get a Rohit Shetty, SRK film,” she says.
When Harshita met SRK for the first time, the six-year old proudly told him that she knows his name! Later the actor danced with her to his hit number from Don, and she even got his autograph, informs the mother. Harshita has already finished shooting for her part in Goa and Mumbai.
