Prominent Telugu filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday after he complained of breathing related problems. Now, we hear that his health has deteriorated and he's been put on ventilator support.
The filmmaker will have to undergo a chest surgery and the hospital has already issued a statement about the same. He is currently admitted to KIMS- Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences.
“Following infection in lungs and kidneys, director Dasari Narayana Rao has been admitted. He has been given ventilator support and he is reacting to the treatment well. He will have to undergo dialysis and chest surgery,” Bollineni Bhaskar Rao, Managing Director and CEO of KIMS, said in a statement.
Rao has won National Award for his film and has directed a record number of films. Premabhishekam, Meghasandesham, Osey Ramulamma and Tata Manavadu are some of his well known films. He also announced his plans to make a biopic on former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.
