Video: Remember 'Band of Boys' singer Sudhanshu Pandey? He's back after a decade with his debut single 'Teri Adaa'

After a decade bollywood actor Sudhanshu Pandey, released his debut single as a solo singer. Sudhanshu Pandey, who made a thumping entry into music with India’s first boy band, A Band of Boys, has just released  his first ever solo single titled Teri Adaa. Interestingly, he has not only acted in the video but has also  produced it. Not many are aware of the fact that the model-turned-actor will also be seen playing an evil scientist in Rajinikanth’s much-awaited 2.0

Touted to be one of the most stylish music videos, Sudhanshu will be seen playing a mafia don in the single Teri Adaa which has been directed by Mehul Gadani.“I have partly written the lyrics along with Ravi Singhal. Ravi is also the composer of the song,” said Sudhanshu, who stole the hearts of his fans with his killer look and boyish charm.

When asked about his musical journey, Sudhanshu becomes nostalgic and takes a walk down memory lane. “I came to Mumbai from Nainital. I knew no one in Mumbai. But God showed me the way. I started doing TV commercials and print ads. I did a few ads, which became iconic. I did ads with Shashi Kapoor’s son Kunal Kapoor, who is one of the best-known faces in the advertisement world. However, destiny had some other plans for me and I landed up being a part of country’s first ever boy band, A Band of Boys. Before I knew I was singing with the boys and travelling the globe. We did innumerable shows and the songs such as Gori and Meri Neend became iconic hits. Even today they are the biggest hits,” said Sudhanshu, who was one of the protagonists in Anil Kapoor’s hit TV series 24 (season 2).

The Nainital boy, who has worked with famous fashion designers such as Rohit Bal and JJ Valaya, however, discovered his passion for acting soon. He left Band of Boys to pursue acting. Sudhanshu went onto work in innumerable hit Bollywood films such as Singh Is Kinng, Singham, Dus Kahaniyaan ,Saas Bahu Aur Sensex , Yakeen, Murder 2  to name a few.  However, as fate would have it, singing never left him. 

“After I opted out of the band, I returned to my acting career. But singing kept haunting me. A lot of friends who knew me as a singer kept telling me why I wasn’t doing something in music. And finally, I decided to make a comeback as a singer. I have sung it, directed and even produced it. It’s my first ever solo single and I am excited. It would soon hit the stands,” said Sudhanshu, who was awarded the best male model award right at the start of his career.

In the meantime, Sudhanshu, who shared screen with Jackie Chan in his debut Hollywood film, The Myth, is in talks with directors of films, television and web series. Also, he has his eyes set on production and wants to produce content-driven cinema. “I am a strong creative person and I am looking forward to creating some exciting new content for my audiences, who have always showered me with love,” said Sudhanshu, who also calls himself a part-time poet.

Soon, his fans will see him acting in a high-profile web-series backed by a Hollywood production house. However, he is in no mood to divulge details. “I’m also cast as one of the protagonists in a very high profile web-series being produced by a renowned Hollywood production based out of Sydney,” he said.

More good news for his fans. Though his fans are waiting with bated breath to watch him act alongside Rajinikanth in Shankar's 2:0 and in 'Kotigobba'(Kannad) opposite  Kannad superstar Sudeep.
