Ajith Kumar and Shalini are one of the most adored couples in Tamil film industry. They have been married for almost 20 years and have two children - daughter Anoushka born in the year 2008 and son Aadvik born in 2015. Shalini after tying the knot with Ajith quit acting and has been missing on the big screen since then. However, her public outings with Ajith or their kids make fans gush over her all over again.

It was in the year 1999 when Shalini was paired opposite Ajith for the film Amarkalam and their romance started brewing between them. A year after that, the couple tied the knot in dual ceremonies as Ajith is a Hindu and Shalini a Malayali Christian.
