Brace yourself before you read the ticket prices.

Looks like the rumours about Coldplay's proposed concert in Mumbai, doing rounds of social media platforms, are true. The British alt-rock band is coming to India, reports Mid-Day.

The daily quotes a 'well-connected source' saying, "Yes, Coldplay is set to perform in Mumbai on November 19 at the MMRDA and the show is put together by Global Citizen Festival run by Chris Martin."

The source also told the daily that tickets will be available on BookMyShow starting September 12. Ticket prices will start at Rs 25,000 and will go as high as Rs 5 lakh in other categories.

The event will feature hip-hop artist Jay-Z, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, and AR Rahman.

Rumours of Coldplay coming to India for a concert got the wind when the band came to India to shoot for 'Hymn for the Weekend', a song from their latest album A Head Full of Dreams in collaboration with Beyonce. The song was shot in the bylanes of Mumbai and Sonam Kapoor had a cameo in it.

Later, when Chris Martin visited India with Frieda Pinto for The Global Poverty Project, an impromptu gig by Coldplay's lead singer at a pub in Delhi only fuelled the rumours and the demand for a live concert in India.

Coldplay fans, your wish has come true. Now all you have to do is find a buyer for your kidneys!
