The warring Bidaai girls Sara Khan and Parul Chauhan were all set to do a cameo together in Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, but the sequence got scraped at the last minute. Not many know that Sara and Parul, who made their TV debuts in Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai, are not on talking terms. However, at one point, they were the best of friends. Says producer Rajan Shahi, "They were so close that used to even share a make-up room.
They have seen success together, and were like Siamese twins." However, the bonding lasted only till the serial was on air. Apparently, differences developed between the two and neither could stand each other. If one would enter the room, the other would leave. A source says, "For the first day telecast party of Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, Alok Nath, Kinshuk Mahajan, Angad Hasija and Vibha Chibber, who were part of Bidaai came, but Sara and Parul were missing." However, both have kept their animosity under wraps.
"It's really strange, usually actresses get on each other's cases when they are working together and here it's the other way round," says Rajan, who found a perfect opportunity to patch them up with a cameo in his current serial Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. A dance sequence was also planned. "Both had agreed, which was nice but suddenly there was a change in the script and I had to do away with the cameo," says Rajan who, however, hasn't given up the idea of getting them to work together.
