Disney released the first teaser trailer of 'The Big Friendly Giant' or The BFG. It offers the first glimpse of Mark Rylance as the giant himself. Ruby Barnhill will portray Sophie, “Never get out of bed. Never go near the window. Never look behind the curtain,” she narrates, but does the exact opposite!

The BFG is the story of a young girl, the Queen of England, and the BFG, who set out on an adventure to capture the evil, man-eating giants who have been invading the human world.

“It is a special joy to be in the director’s chair as we start The BFG, alongside my long-time friends and film collaborators Kathy Kennedy, who introduced me to this project, Frank Marshall and Melissa Mathison. Together with them and Disney, there are many reasons why I am so excited about this joint venture,” said Steven Spielberg in a statement.
