Though Bollywood stars or the channels never go on  record about the money they are getting, sources confirm that this season the fees for ‘Bollywood’ TV hosts have gone through the roof.

“Salman Khan has been paid Rs3.5 crore per episode for hosting Bigg Boss, it is the highest that an actor has been paid for hosting a TV show. More interestingly, the fees were again revised for some special episodes,” says a source.

The officials from the channel didn’t deny the amount but chose not to confirm that either. The final amount is apparently almost double the amount of last season and at least thrice the amount what Salman was paid when he was hosting Dus Ka Dum a couple of years back.

The second highest paid anchor is apparently actor Shah Rukh Khan, who got paid Rs20 crore for just 10 days of shooting.

The remuneration of superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who reportedly commanded a fee of Rs1.8 crore per episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, is apparently going to be revised further in the next season.

Akshay Kumar got a reported fees of Rs1.5 crore per episode of the cookery reality show that he hosted. According to insiders, the television hosting fees for the coming season will see at least a 40% hike in the coming season.

Among the female actors, the cake is definitely taken by Priyanka Chopra who reportedly got Rs60 lakh an episode. Even the latest telly entrant, Preity Zinta apparently commands Rs45 lakh an episode now.
