With Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will mark his return with Salman Khan for the second time on Eid.

Last Eid Salman and Nawazuddin celebrated the success of their film Kick where Nawaz was seen playing the villain. And now after playing the bad guy in Kick, Nawazuddin reunites with Salman as a friend in Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

This time again the duo will be seen together but instead of fighting each other they would be part of a friendly journey. Nawazuddin will be seen playing a journalist from Pakistan who will be helping Salman on his quest to get a little girl back with her family. For Nawaz, shooting with Salman for both the films has been a very different experience.

Nawazuddin shares, “The shoot for this film was very different from Kick, when you are shooting outdoors you get more time to spend with the team. For Bajrangi Bhaijaan we have travelled across India. I got to know Salman Bhai better than before. Salman bhai is a wonderful person to work with and he gives you your own space. It was a very exciting journey which will be seen in the film too.”

At a time when people talk about leading pair jodis and director-actor combinations being the biggest formula for a film's success, we analyse how Nawazuddin and Salman's pairing might become the 'it' thing after this Eid.

KICK:
Released Last year Eid
Collection: Over Rs 230 crore

Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick had Nawaz and Sallu sharing screen for the very first time. While Salman played the angelic devil in the film, Nawaz was the prime villain. Not miss his menacing laughter. Now, the combination worked wonders as the film rode towards the Rs 200 crore mark almost easily. While Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez's sizzling on screen chemistry spiced up the frames, it was the epic David v/s Goliath battle between Salman and Nawaz that added the spark to the film.

BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN:
Releases This Eid
Collection: Predicted to be the biggest blockbuster of the year so far..

Bollywood has had a string of films throughout the first half of 2015 but there were only a bundle of surprises in store. While Tanu Weds Manu Returns collected around Rs 150 crore, it's Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor's ABCD 2 that crossed the Rs 100 crore mark recently. But all eyes are on Salman's Bajrangi Bhaijaan as it's expected to create firecrackers at the box office. Storming the cash registers this Eid, with a very simplistic, humane yet commercial bonanza, Salman is expected to break open the Rs 200 crore tag easily. And who knows? Nawaz and Salman's friendly pairing might draw more cheers and expectedly, this film might just even be Salman's bets till date, dethroning Kick's lifetime collections.
