Dulquer Salmaan, who won hearts with his acting skills, revealed that he was being ignored on the set of a film. The actor mentioned that he was not treated with respect while shooting for a film during his initial days.
While speaking to PinkVilla, Dulquer said, “If you don’t create a bit of an aura around you, you will get pushed around. On set or anywhere, I just seek basic human respect. There was this one time when I was getting pushed around over and over again. I was like, Why is this happening? I was like, Bhaiyaa, I am the actor in this film. You don’t see me?"
To get the attention, the actor go the Porsche, he mentioned, “ So, then I thought this was a perception thing, and I was like, Get the Porsche. Suddenly, everyone was like, Oh, some big actor has come. It changed things. I got a chair. Suddenly, people walked around me and not to me."
The actor added, even crew’s behaviour was changed after that. Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan recently appeared in pan-India crime drama King of Kotha. While promoting his movie at a pre-release event in Hydeabad, Dulquer was joined by Rana Daggubati. The Baahubali actor took a dig at 'big Hindi heroine' for wasting the Sita Ramam actor's time on sets.
Without naming anyone, Rana had said, "Dulquer was my junior at an acting school. We knew each other from then on. He was doing a Hindi movie, and the producers are my friends. The shoot was happening near my house. I went there to meet Dulquer. While he was standing in the corner with the spot boy, a big Hindi heroine who was doing that movie was engrossed in a phone conversation about shopping in London with her husband. Her lack of focus affected the shots’ quality, frustrating those on set. If I had a bottle in my hand, I would have crushed it. But, Dulquer remained calm and gave as many takes as he was asked."
