Zee Cine Awards 2016: Here are the nominations for the awards

The finale day is here! Zee Cine Awards night has arrived and here is a look at the nominations for this year.

By the industry, for the industry
The Jury Awards have been instituted to ensure a high degree of fairness and transparency in the selection process. Renowned people from across the industry constitute the panel that will watch the releases of the year and choose the winners. The panel members include filmmakers Rakesh Roshan, Anurag Basu, Leena Yadav, lyricist and screenwriter Prasoon Joshi, cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, sound designer Resul Pookutty and composer Shantanu Moitra.  

The jury speaks...
Resul says, “I have a long association with Zee Cine Awards. I have won three Zee Cine Awards and they all have celebrated my work. This time, it’s my responsibility to select deserving talent. It is a huge responsibility to select the best among the best.” Leena adds that they will make the the judging process as transparent as it can be, while says, “Zee Cine Awards 2016 is at a critical intersection of entertainment and authenticity. Bringing those two worlds together with class is an art form. I’m excited to celebrate the best and be a part of the Jury Awards.”
