Kishore Kumar’s back!
Leena Chandavarkar-Ganguly, the fourth and last wife of Kishore Kumar, thinks her granddaughter Muktika Ganguly (daughter of Kishore Kumar’s son Amit Kumar) is a reincarnation of the singer. She says, “I believe that Muktika is a reincarnation of Kumarji.”

Surprisingly, even Amit Kumar thinks the same. He says, “Now, Muktika is four years old but when she was just six months and on my lap, we asked her where dadu is and she pointed her finger towards the photograph behind me in which babaji (Kishore Kumar) was there. I have never told anyone this before, but after that incident I also feel that she is an incarnation of babaji.”

He adds, “Sometimes she even behaves and talks like my father.”

Leena says there are a lot of similarities between the four-year-old and the singer. “She makes her own music and lyrics. Kishoreji used to love watching horror movies and even she loves watching them. I keenly observe her likes and dislikes. She is like him in many ways. He used to come back home from work and scribble in black ink in his diary. Muktika also comes back home from school and draws.”

There’s one more similarity that Leena points out. Like  Kishore Kumar even Muktika loves dogs. And guess what she calls Leena? “She calls me ‘ghau ghau dadi’ (meaning bhau bhau — the bark of a dog) because she sees so many dogs around me,” says Leena, who has 13 dogs.
