Watch: Comedian Edward Sonnenblick talks India, 'Lagaan' and it's hilarious
India has always been the land of colour and couples going around trees, singing, in the rain - at least to the west.
There are many such stereotypes that have stemmed off India, but nobody said we cannot have a bit of fun with it.
Chef-turned-actor-turned-comedian Edward Sonnenblick, in the episode of The Comedy Store, speaks of how it is like to be a 'gora' (referring to a foreigner, cite complexion), in the land of Bollywood.
Through the 8 min long episode, he spoke of how his 'passage' through India, was influenced by the film Lagaan and how shattered he was when his notion of India being a land of simple emotions and couples running around was broken.
