India is all prepared to host the grand G20 summit. The summit will be held at the Bharat Mandapam of Pragati Maidan in New Delhi triggering selective movement restrictions in parts of New Delhi. As many as 43 foreign heads will gather under one roof to attend the grand global summit.
Ever since the news of restrictions in various parts of New Delhi came to light, people have assumed that the entire Delhi will be locked down for the coming six days. Whereas, in fact, only some parts of New Delhi will be restricted.

Delhi and New Delhi are different in terms of governance, history, and geography. Delhi, both in terms of population and are much older and greater. New Delhi is a part of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. New Delhi is one of the 9 districts of the Delhi Union Territory. The other eight districts are Central, East, New Delhi, North, North East, North West, Shahdara and South.
Created by the British in 1911, New Delhi is the capital city of India. It was named New Delhi to differentiate it from Old Delhi.
