Further clarifying about the same, Krafton said that action will be taken against the player's account if anything illegal is found.
PUBG Mobile India's Indianised version Battlegrounds Mobile India was released earlier this year and now a warning has been put out whenever a gamer opens the game saying that if a gamer is found using an illegal program then their account might get deleted.
The South Korean game developer, Krafton, issued a statement about the same and described all that entails illegal activity within the game. The check on illegal activities first began on September 15.
Krafton's latest blog post read, "Measures will be taken as new types of illegal programs and activities have been identified recently."
Further clarifying about the same, Krafton said that action will be taken against the player's account if anything illegal is found. The company has installed software for the same. However, players are not using anything illegal and are highlighted then they don't need to worry.
"If the warning message pops up even if you have not used an illegal program, data that is judged to be an illegal program (data falsification, etc.) may have been detected through installing other apps without being aware of it. But do not be concerned too much, and please proceed with the Routine Repair in the login screen to convert the data back to normal," Krafton said.
Battlegrounds Mobile India: What entails illegal activity?
- Installed app from an unofficial source
- Installed "illegal programs or untrusted auxiliary programs" on your device
- If your device is rooted or jailbroken
- When abnormal data is detected
- If you are using someone else's account.
Once an illegal activity is spotted on your account then Battlegrounds Mobile India will perform the Routine Repair function, which is the only way to restore the account. "Tap on the arrow at the bottom right corner of the lobby > SETTINGS > Basic > Tap Log Out at the bottom left corner > Tap Repair in the login screen > Check Routine Repair and OK," Krafton said.
After the data is normalised, you can log back into your account and play as usual. Krafton can also ban your account for not complying with its guidelines and continuing with illegal activities.
