It may be recalled that Indian government had banned PUBG Mobile India in September 2020 due to privacy concerns.

There is no denying the fact that lakhs of PUBG Mobile India lovers in India are eagerly waiting for the launch of hugely popular mobile games in the country but there is no concrete information about the relaunch date of PUBG Mobile India. It may be recalled that Indian government had banned PUBG Mobile India in September 2020 due to privacy concerns and since then several reports have surfaced claiming that PUBG Mobile India would soon be launched in India but PUBG Copr is yet to make an official announcement in this regard.

On the other hand, PUBG Mobile is growing in popularity with each passing day and the mobile game has achieved several milestones so far.

The unique thing about PUBG is that it features variants that have been developed by PUBG Copr to cater to users from a particular region.

PUBG Mobile Korea is one such local version which is published by Krafton for users in Korea and Japan. But PUBG Mobile Korea is not only limited to Korea and Japan as it is also played across the world because of the availability of cosmetic items and crates.

But PUBG Mobile Korea has now announced that they would be restricting the functionality of the game for users outside Korea and Japan. According to PUBG Mobile Korea, these changes will be implemented soon.

Notably, the KR version will soon be unplayable in India. PUBG Mobile KR took to social media to announce the following three changes:

1) From 2021/05/01, users outside of Korea or Japan who log in with a KRJP build account will not be able to settle the payment.

2) From 2021/05/01, users out of Korea or Japan who log in with KRJP build account may face network trouble while playing the game.

3) From 2021/06/30, users outside of Korea or Japan will not be able to log in to the KRJP build.

For Indian users, these changes will come into effect from June 30, 2021.
