There is no dneying the fact that lakhs of PUBG lovers in India are waiting for the relaunch of PUBG Mobile India but the PUBG Corp is yet to make any official announcement regarding the relaunch of PUBG Mobile India. It is to be noted that PUBG Mobile India was banned in September 2020 by the Indian government due to data privacy concerns.
Since the ban several reports had surfaced claiming that PUBG Mobile India would be relaunched in India in 2021 and now a PUBG Mobile content creator, who goes by the name Luv Sharma, has claimed that PUBG Mobile India has received permission from the Indian government for a relaunch.
It may be recalled that PUBG Corporation recently joined hands with with Microsoft Azure to host the game sessions. It is belived that this will help PUBG Corporation in addressing the data proivacy concerns of the Indian government.
Furthermore, few days ago job opening was posted by PUBG Corporation for Investment and Strategy Analyst on LinkedIn, sending a clear message that PUBG Mobile India may be relaunched soon. As per the job descriptipon, the new joinee would be heading mergers and acquisitions.
Another PUBG Mobile pro gamer Abhijeet Andhare claimed that Indian government has given the nod for the launch of PUBG Mobile India.
“I didn’t want to reveal this but it’s your love that I could not refrain myself. The next two months are very good for PUBG lovers and so much interesting news will be coming soon for TSM lovers,” Andhare, who is a member of the TSM eSports team, said on Twitter.
Meanwhile, PUBG Corp has made it clear that it will not open the pre-registration for PUBG: New State in the country. The new game was recently launched on both Google Play and the App Store for global audience.
