PUBG Mobile, the popular multiplayer game has been awaited with a baited breath by its millions of users in India as the game's return has been in the news for a while now, since its ban.
The game, which was banned in India in September in the second round of the ban of applications with their Chinese affiliation has been unavailable since, when the government cited security threats when the border conflicts were going on with the neighbouring country.
The Government of India (GoI) banned the game, which was one of the most poular first person shooting games in the country, in accordance with the Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, which gives them the power to take down any online content, which they deem it harmful or threatening. The game's relaunch date is still unknown, however the hopes of the gamers have certainly risen after PUBG Mobile India's update last month.

According to PUBG developers, the Indian version of the app will have customised content to reflect "local needs".
