Two years after her breakup with Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande announced her engagement to real estate agent Dalton Gomez on Sunday night.
The singer took to her Instagram account and shared a series of photos with Gomez and flaunted her shiny engagement ring too. Ariana posted cozy photos with Dalton and a mirror selfie showing off her expensive ring studded with a diamond and a pearl. Ariana captioned her post stating, "forever n then some."
Who is Dalton Gomez?
For the uninformed, Gomez is not a part of the entertainment industry, but rather a budding real estate tycoon. He reportedly works as a buyer's agent for the Aaron Kirman Group, a luxury real estate company in Los Angeles.
According to the bio on his official profile on the business's website, Gomez "holds one of the largest Rolodexes of A-list buyers" and is known for his "extensive knowledge in the fields of architecture and luxury estates."
Ariana had made her relationship with Gomez official when the two had appeared together in her music video for "Stick with U". The song is a new, stay-at-home inspired duet from Ariana and Justin Bieber.
Towards the end of the visual, Ariana appears alongside Gomez where the two lovingly hug and dance together. On Sunday, soon after Ariana posted the announcement, it was flooded with congratulatory messages from the celebs and the fans. Her manager Scooter Braun commented, "Congrats to these two amazing souls. Ari, we love you and could not be happier for you. Dalton, you are a lucky man." While Hailey Bieber wrote, "YAYYYYYY!!!! So happy for you guys!!"
Talking about their engagement, a source told People, "They couldn't be happier, they're just so excited. This is a happy time for them, both sets of parents are thrilled." There were reports that Ariana and Dalton quarantined together during the coronavirus pandemic.
