Get to know the glamorously con women of 'Ocean's 8'

Meet Debbie Ocean. Sister of Danny Ocean (Geroge Clooney) and the mastermind behind the jewellery heist at the Met Gala. She has been incarcerated for five years (just like her brother in Ocean's 11) and the first thing she does after coming out is to lead the team of thieves.

Lou is the Rusty (Brad Pitt from Ocean's 11) of this movie - minus the eating, of course. She seems to be the right-hand gal of Debbie and her knight in shining Gucci who keeps her focused on the heist.

From the trailer of the movie, it is safe to understand that Debbie's team is after the necklace Daphne Kluger is wearing. Anne Hathaway plays that lucky socialite. But a few clips in the trailer indicate that she is more of a co-conspirator than a victim.

This is Amita. She is a jewellery designer and her mother cannot wait for her to get married. Seems stereotypical in the trailer. But Amita is the expert Debbie needs to replicate the $150 million diamond necklace.

Debbie reunites with Tammy who is apparently an old friend. Tammy then decides to come back to the dark (yet fun) side after understanding what's at stake.

A trickster is a must for any heist. Rapper Awkwafina plays Constance who is a street con-gal. Debbie needs an artful dodger like her.

This is Nine Ball. Rihanna's character is the techie brain. She goes by the name Nine Ball (just like the game).

Helena Bonham Carter plays Rose. She is a seamstress the fashion world doesn't care about. In the trailer, we see Debbie and Lou comfort Rose and tell her one day they will regret hurting her. Rose apparently gets close to Daphne, you know, just keep an eye on the whereabouts of the necklace.
