Benedict Cumberbatch-led 'Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness', the sequel to the 2016 blockbuster 'Doctor Strange', is releasing in theatres on May 6. And as per reports, the teaser of another sequel 'Avatar 2', the highly awaited second film in James Cameron's 'Avatar' franchise, will be attached with the upcoming Marvel film.
With worldwide box-office collections of above $2.8 billion, the 2009 epic science film 'Avatar' is the highest-grossing film of all time. After the stupendous success of the first film, the filmmaker has announced four sequels in the franchise. 'Avatar 2' is slated to release on December 16, 2022, and 'Avatar 3' arrives in theatres on December 20, 2024. The subsequent films will hit the theatres in 2026 and 2028 respectively.
After the media reports in Hollywood surfaced that the trailer for 'Avatar 2' will be attached with the prints of 'Doctor Strange 2', trade analyst Ramesh Bala also shared the news on his Twitter handle and wrote, "#Avatar2 Trailer to release along with #DrStrange in the Multiverse of Madness theatrical release on May 6th". However, no official announcement has been made yet by the makers of 'Avatar'.
Along with the original lead pair of Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana reprising their roles as Jake Sully and Neyitri respectively, Kate Winslet will be the new addition in the sequel playing the pivotal character of Ronal. She reunites with Cameron after 25 years after their multiple Oscar-winning romantic blockbuster 'Titanic' was released in 1997.

Talking about the sequel of 'Doctor Strange', it follows the events in the Marvel timeline when Benedict's Doctor Stephen Strange accidentally opened the multiverse in 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' to help Tom Holland's Spider-Man. Apart from Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams also star in the American superhero film directed by Sam Raimi who helmed the original Spider-Man trilogy with Tobey Maguire.
