Chris Evans promised 6-year-old Bridger Walker 'Captain America' shield for his brave act
Six-year-old Bridger Walker has been making headlines and winning hearts for his recent brave act. The young boy jumped in front of a dog to protect his sister and in turn received 90 stitches. He even went on to say, "If someone had to die, I thought it should be me." The little one won many hearts, including 'Captain America' Chris Evans.
Chris recorded a message and sent it to Bridger. A video shared by the boy's aunt Nicole has been going viral. In the video, Bridger is seen dressed as 'Captain America' as he still sits next to his sister, and watches Chris Evans on his tablet.
In the video, Chris Evans lauds Bridger Walker for his brave act, calling him a hero. He also promised to sent the six-year-old 'Captain America' shield after tracking down his address, making Walker smile. He later confessed feeling great about it. Chris Evans also asked Walker to hang in there because recovering might be tough, but also adds that there isn't anything that could slow down the young boy.

Bridger Walker has also been named 'honorary world champion' by the World Boxing Council. The post was first shared by Nicole, who narrated the incident while also sharing before and after images of Bridger Walker. The images have now gone viral on social media.

Apart from Chris Evans, Bridger received praises from 'The Hulk' Mark Ruffalo too. He had said Bridger is 'more of man than many, many I have seen or know'. 'Captain Marvel' Brie Larson, 'The Flash' stars Grant Gustin and Robbie Amell, and Anne Hathaway, also reached out to Bridger and lauded him for the brave act.
