The movie starring Brie Larson is slated to release in March 2019.

Fans of Captain Marvel are slowly being introduced the overall look of the movie. The first images from the film came out in the form of merchandising giving an idea of what everyone can expect when Marvel Studios unveils the first look.

One of Disney's licensing partners Insight Editions released new collectable Captain Marvel notebooks. One of the two notebooks features Brie Larson who plays Caron Danvers aka Captain Marvel in the movie. The other book with blue cover shows off the logo and emblem we saw at the end of Avengers: Infinity War when Nick Fury sent the signal for help.

According to reports, the colour scheme of the books matches with the artwork shown at San Diego Comic-Con in 2017 when Larson was announced as the lead in the film.

There is no official announcement about the unveiling of promotional posters or a teaser perhaps. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has already said that it will be few months before we get a trailer. But there is no harm in expecting some goodies before the year ends.

Captain Marvel is Marvel Studios' second attempt to go back in the timeline to showcase the origin story of a superhero. Captain America: The First Avenger being the first one.

This story is reportedly adapting the Kree-Skrull War plot and will take place in the '90s.

"It allows us to play in an area that we have never played in before and tapping into a '90s action genre was fun for us and being able to see an earlier part of the MCU before Nick Fury knew anything about aliens or anything about super-powered people and also tapping into the Kree-Skrull War, which in the comics was a huge part of the comic mythology, seemed like a fun thing to try and a fun way to give Carol Danvers her own standalone origin story," Feige told Toronto Sun.

Samuel L Jackson's Nick Fury will be digitally de-aged for the complete film -- a technology that is being perfected since first Ant-Man movie in which we saw a younger version of Dr Hank Pym played by Michael Douglas.

Along with Larson and Jackson, Jude Law is another big name attached to this superhero movie.

Captain Marvel is slated to release in March 2019 answering many questions before we get to watch Avengers 4.
