Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with Lymphoma disease. The veteran actor took to his Twitter page and shared the heartbreaking news with his fans. Jeff also wrote that he is starting the treatment and will be updating everyone about his recovery. Along with the statement, Bridges also urged people to go and vote during the Presidential Elections in th US.
Jeff tweeted, "As the Dude would say.. New S**T has come to light. I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good. I’m starting treatment and will keep you posted on my recovery."
He further wrote, "I’m profoundly grateful for the love and support from my family and friends. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. And, while I have you, please remember to go vote. Because we are all in this together. http://Vote.org. Love, Jeff."

Jeff won his first Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role in the year 2009 for the film, Crazy Heart. He has been nominated several times for his performances in movies namely The Last Picture Show (1971), Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974), Starman (1984), The Contender (2000), True Grit (2010) and Hell or High Water (2016).
He will be seen in an upcoming series titled The Old Man wherein he plays the role of David Chase.
