Ryan Reynolds and his Deadpool have now become synonymous with the term viral marketing. Keeping the tradition alive, the Merc with a Mouth released a new video especially for the folks who are attending Brazil Comic-Con in Sao Paulo this year.
The marketing geniuses behind the movie have promised free, official Deadpool tattoos for the attendees who will reserve a spot on the website provided with the video. The designs include one Deadpool heart, one Yo Mama (written in Portuguese) heart tattoo, a Brazilian flag with Deadpool's face on it, and one with his severed arm in handcuffs, just like we saw in the first movie.
But making this announcement more special is Ryan Reynolds in sweet red spandex. He cracks wise about Brazil calling the country, "the beautiful sunkissed home of Pelé, hairless genitalia, and the world's largest Jared Leto statue."
Wade Wilson aka Deadpool aka Ryan Reynolds also asks fans to sign a waiver before making the lifelong commitment with the tattoo which is according to him is "a back alley roll of the hepatitis dice."
Then concluding the video, he takes a dig at 2016 US Men's Olympic Swimming Team and their notorious incident of making Sh** up.
The production on Deadpool 2 has wrapped up and an equally insane teaser trailer for the same has arrived too.
Directed by David Leitch of John Wick, the sequel will see Josh Brolin join Reynolds as Cable aka Nathan Summers. Zazie Beetz of Atlanta is playing Domino. Morena Baccarin, TJ Miller, Karan Sonu, Leslie Uggams, Stefan Kapicic and Brianna Hildebrand will be reprising their roles.
The movie is set to release on June 1, 2018
