OPINION: Law is need of the hour

A bill to prevent religious conversion is essential as a lot of conversions by missionaries and other people are taking place across the country. A number of foreigners come on tourist visas and indulge in such activities. These people arrive in our country from places like West Asia and the Western world. They entice innocent people by offering various kinds products and even money to change their religion. People are coerced by giving admission in schools.

Conversion should be voluntary. There is a need to formulate a strict law to prevent induced conversion.
