Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda on Thursday will visit TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's parliamentary constituency Diamond Harbour. Nadda will be taking part in the ongoing mass outreach campaign with an eye to win the assembly elections in the state next year.

Nadda will hold various public programs at Radio Station Ground, Diamond Harbour.

On December 10, the BJP president will address a press conference at Diamond Harbour in neighbouring South 24 Parganas district. He will also address the party cadres and interact with members from the fishermen community.

Besides, Nadda will offer prayers at Ramakrishna Mission.

The parliamentary constituency of Diamond Harbour has seven assembly constituencies with a significant Muslim population. The party is looking to garner Hindu votes in Diamond Harbour. 

BJP Chief Nadda is on a two-day visit to West Bengal as part of his 120-day nationwide tour.

He inaugurated the party`s West Bengal election office at Hastings, Kolkata, and virtually opened party offices in nine districts, Nadda joined a janasampark (public outreach) rally, "Aar noi annay (injustice no more)" in Bhawanipur Vidhan Sabha seat in the city. 

These new offices will have facilities like e-library, video conferencing facilities and meeting halls.

"I am happy that nine offices have been dedicated here. Thirty-eight more offices will be built in the state. The Bharatiya Jana Sangh and the BJP have a special relationship. Bharatiya Jana Sangh had got two national presidents from West Bengal in the initial period, he said.

He also said, "BJP will win 200 seats in the upcoming Assembly election 2021 election. The people of Bengal are with BJP and with Modi ji."
