Don't be silent like Bhisma during Draupadi's disrobing: Swaraj to Mulayam on Azam Khan's remark against Jaya Prada

1.Mulayam should clarify: Sushma Swaraj
Drawing a comparison between mythological character Bhishma Pitahmah and Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, Union Minister and BJP leader Sushma Swaraj on Monday sought Mulayam's response on the 'Khaki underwear' comment made by his party leader Azam Khan against film actor and Rampur BJP candidate Jaya Prada.

Referring to Draupadi's cheer-haran (disrobing) - a scene from epic Mahabharata in which Pandavas lost a bet to their usurping cousins - Swaraj appealed Mulayam to not remain silent on the matter. "Mulayam Bhai - You are the father figure of Samajwadi Party. In front of you, Draupadi is being disrobed in Rampur. Do not make the mistake of being silent like Bhishma@yadavakhilesh Smt.Jaya Bhaduri, Mrs.Dimple Yadav," she tweeted in Hindi.
2.NCW slams Azam Khan
Reacting NCW chairperson Rekha Sharma said: “He's always talking dirty about women and in this election it's the 2nd remark he gave against woman politician. NCW has taken suo-motu cognizance and we're sending him notice We are also writing to EC to take strict action against him because he has to learn this lesson now. It's high time, he has to stop this. Women are not sex objects. I think, women voters should vote against such kind of people who are treating women in such way.”
3.Jaya Pada slams Azam Khan, FIR lodged
Reacting, Prada slammed the SP leader for his remark and said she won’t tolerate this kind of language. She told Zee News: “I am not able to tolerate the language he has used against me. "If you consider me your sister, I am urging you to fight against Azam Khan. When you vote on April 23, ensure he doesn't get any vote."
An FIR was lodged against Azam Khan for the remarks. The FIR is based on complaints made by Shahabad magistrate Mahesh Kumar Gupta.
