India's first luxurious train Tejas Express will make its debut on May 22, 2017 and in its maiden it will run between Mumbai and Karmali in Goa.

India's first luxurious train Tejas Express will make its debut on May 22, 2017 and for  its maiden journey it will run between Mumbai and Karmali in Goa.

Central Railway General Manager DK Sharma with other officials carried out an inspection on May 21, 2017. He has instructed that all the staff members should be well-trained about the features of the train. 
Tejas Express will cover 800km between Mumbai to Goa in 8 hours and 30 minutes.

The fares of Tejas Express will 20 percent more than that of Shatabdi Express. The train will run only on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
