Five people have been killed including two pilots and two were injured after a plane crahsed in an open area in Mumbai on Thursday afternoon.

A private plane with 12 passengers on board crashed at 1:30pm after the aircraft took off rom the Juhu airport for a test flight.The aircraft crashed in the compound of the under-construction building in the old Maniklal lane in Ghatkopar which is near telephone exchange on Jeev Daya Lane.

The aircraft — King Air C-90 VT-UPZ —  belongs to UY Aviation Pvt Ltd and it was bought from Uttar Pradesh government.
