On Monday, Tiger Raja Singh lashed out at SP MLA from Kairana Nahid Hasan for his comment asking people to economically boycott shopkeepers who were BJP supporters.
An angry Tiger Raja Singh in a response said that they’d go hungry if ‘we started doing the same thing.’
The MLA from Telangana said: “Beta, if we start doing this, you will die hungry. You will have to beg to eat. 1. T Raja Singh vs Nahid Hasan

SP MLA from Kairana Nahid Hasan is former MP Tabassum Hassan’s son who won a high-charged bypoll from Kairana where RLD, SP, BSP and Congress came together to beat the BJP in 2018.
The move was hailed as symbol of opposition unity and a blueprint for taking on the BJP juggernaut but Tabassum lost to BJP candidate Pradeep Choudhary.
Earlier this year, Tiger Raja Singh had alleged that the Hyderabad Police had attacked him while he and his supporters were installing a statue of Rani Avanti Bai, but video showed Raja Singh hitting himself on the head with a stone.
2. What Hasan said

Hasan was seen saying in the video that they should refrain from buying from BJP supporters for ten days or one month. According to him, while it may feel like a hardship to procure goods from another village, but it would help them in the long run.
Nahid Hasan said that they give business to the BJP supporters which makes them prosperous and later his supporters have to suffer.
3. The Kairana Backstory

Kairana was in news a few years ago owing to migration of Hindus from that area. The Akhilesh government at that time though denied any such planned migration.
In the Lok Sabha elections, despite the presence of Mahagathbandhan, SP couldn't increase its 2014 tally of five seats. Many of their stalwarts lost and later Mayawati too pulled the plug from the alliance, saying that Akhilesh's party has failed to hold on to its core Yadav vote bank.
