Two persons were killed and four others were seriously injured when a heavy vehicle collided with their car here early today, police said.
The accident took place in Nivali ghat near Ratnagiri around 6.30 AM, police said. The six passengers, including the two deceased, were travelling to Rajapur from Mumbai in a private car when the incident took place.
The victims were identified as Sachin Dhotre and Sunny Khaire, both residents of BMC colony in Mumbai.
The four injured-- Paresh Kamble, Parimal Jadhav, Prashant Jadhav and Vijay Waghmode-- were admitted to Ratnagiri civil hospital here, police said.
