Six Tamilians who were stranded at Cairo due to the developments in that country arrived here by a special Air India flight.
The group, all aged between 25 to 30 years, were part of the second batch of 240 Indians who reached Mumbai this morning, airport sources said.
"We are happy to be back in Chennai. During the crisis in Egypt, we preferred to stay indoors", one of them said.
They were received at the airport by senior Air India officials.
Amid the continuing disturbances in Egypt, around 300 Indians, stranded in the African country landed in Mumbai on Monday afternoon.
