In an administrative reshuffle, the Punjab government today transferred seven IAS officers including three deputy commissioners.
Deputy commissioners of Jalandhar, Ropar and Gurdaspur were among those transferred, an official spokesman said.
Jalandhar deputy commissioner Ajit Singh Pannu has been appointed Managing Director, Markfed, he said adding he will be replaced by Ropar deputy commissioner Priyank Bharti.
Punjab State Agriculture Marketing Board Secretary Arunjit Singh Miglani will take over as deputy commissioner of Ropar.
Dharam Dutt Ternach, on his return from training, has been made Additional Secretary, Power, replacing HS Pabla.
Gurdaspur deputy commissioner Karamjit Singh Sra will be the new Secretary, Agriculture.
