As Aam Aadmi party accused BJP of trying to topple its government in Delhi by bribing its MLAs, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath today asked the party to initiate a probe into the allegations.
"AAP is not only a party but also runs the government in Delhi. It should order a probe," Nath, a Congress leader, told reporters here.
Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley has rubbished claims made by AAP that it is trying to destabilise its government in Delhi.
"Rubbish claims by AAP. AAP's alternative politics includes a fundamental right to falsehood and lies," he said on Twitter.
AAP leader Sanjay Singh alleged at a press conference that a number of senior BJP leaders along with some "media persons" were backing the move to bring down the government.
Madan Lal, AAP's MLA from Kasturba Nagar, claimed that two persons having links with a senior BJP leader had met him around 10-12 days ago and offered Rs 20 crore to split AAP.
