To draw attention of the government towards rising cases of attack on RTI activists, social activist Aruna Roy and representatives of various organisations on Thursday sat on a day-long dharna here.
"The dharna was organised to draw attention of the government towards the rising cases of attacks on RTI activists, corruption in MGNREGA," Roy said.
Scores of activists took part in the dharna at Statue Circle here.
Roy demanded stern action against those who attacked RTI activists Manglaram in Barmer and Dhudaram in Bikaner some time back.
She also demanded linkage of minimum wages to consumer price index.
