On Wedesday Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh said that Air India is almost bankrupt and has not paid employees, airport authorities and oil companies for months.
About the strike, Singh said that the government was ready to talk to the pilots but discussions and disruptions cannot take place simultaneously.
