An early morning Port Blair-bound Air India flight with 245 passengers on board returned here after being unable to land there due to bad weather.

An early morning Port Blair-bound Air India flight with 245 passengers on board returned here after being unable to land there due to bad weather, airport officials said.

IC 187, which had taken off from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose international airport here for Port Blair at 5.35 am, returned here at 10.10 am, the sources said.

The passengers after their arrival here demanded that they be accommodated in another flight. Alternative travel arrangements could not be made till noon, the sources said.
