An alert has been sounded across Kerala after the twin blasts aboard a train at Chennai railway station Thursday morning, a state minister said.
State Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said there was no need for any anxiety or panic in the state.
"We have sounded an alert in the state and the police are doing their job. Also, the security has been beefed up at all places," said Chennithala.
One passenger was killed and 14 were injured Thursday morning in two bomb blasts in two coaches of the Guwahati-Bangalore train, minutes after it entered the Chennai railway station.
