Amarinder Singh cautions against naxalism in Punjab

Amarinder, who appeared before a Ludhiana court in connection with Ludhiana City Centre scam case, alleged that the SAD-BJP government had failed on all fronts.

Claiming that naxalites were trying to spread their network in Punjab, former chief minister Amarinder Singh today warned that naxalism can raise its head in the state.

"Naxals are trying to have their presence which can turn into a major law and order problem in the state. Naxalites are organising themselves in Punjab and they have already started raising their head," he said.

Amarinder, who appeared before a court here in connection with Ludhiana City Centre scam case, alleged that the SAD-BJP government had failed on all fronts.

"The law and order situation is deteriorating in the state and now the naxal threat is looming large," he said.
