Amitabh Bachchan's son-in-law Nikhil Nanda's e-mail hacked

Nanda came to know about the incident on July 22 when his friends called him and asked about the mails.

Delhi-based businessman Nikhil Nanda, the son-in-law of Hindi film megastar Amitabh Bachchan, has filed a complaint with the Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) about his email account being hacked, an officer said.

Nanda, joint managing director of the Escorts group, who resides in Delhi's Jor Bagh area, informed the police on Thursday after the hacker sent several mails to his friends demanding lakhs of pounds for him.

"In the mail, the hacker had written that Nanda is in Manchester in United Kingdom where his niece has been admitted in a hospital in a critical condition. He needs lakhs of pounds for her treatment. He will return the money after returning from there," said the officer.

Nanda came to know about the incident on July 22 when his friends called him and asked about the mails.

The officer said that the during investigation, it came to light that the hacker had also hacked Nanda's Facebook account and pasted several nude photographs on his page.
