Ara blast: Bihar Police picks up two women from Uttar Pradesh

 Bihar police picked up two women from Balia on Saturday, said to be family members of the woman suspected to have carried out the bomb blast at the civil court in Ara in that state on Friday.

"A team of Bihar police today arrived here and picked up two woman from Shivpur Deeyan village and took them away with them for identification of the woman suspected to be the human bomb", Superintendent of Police R B Singh said. Those who have been taken away to Bihar are the daughter and daughter-in-law of the woman", Singh said.

"On the basis of the mobile phone recovered from her, she was identified as the wife of Hariram Gond of Shivpur Deeyan village", he added. Earlier on Friday, two persons, including a woman suspected to be a human bomb were killed and about 16 others, including lawyers, injured in a bomb blast at Ara civil court premises in Bihar which appeared to be aimed at helping escape of undertrials.
