An army jawan allegedly committed suicide at an army camp here, police said today.
25-year-old Pandyarajan, hailing from Tamil Nadu, was found hanging from a ceiling of his bathroom at the army camp by his colleagues here yesterday.
The exact reason for taking the extreme step is not known yet but the jawan's colleagues said Pandyarajan was upset over some family problems. However, no suicide note has been recovered from the spot, police said.
