An artificial lake near the river Tawi will come up here in the next three years to give a fillip to tourism industry, Abdullah said.

An artificial lake near the river Tawi will come up here in the next three years to give a fillip to tourism industry, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday said.

"The project is likely to be completed within next three years," he said at the first state Tourism Advisory Committee meeting.     The project will cost Rs 75 crore.

Meanwhile, permission has been sought from the concerned department at the Centre for raising a pillar in the forest area for a cable car project.
