The governor said he was humiliated from public platforms and in the issuing of statements to the media by government functionaries.

Arunachal Pradesh Governor JP Rajkhowa has alleged that chief minister Nabam Tuki and his colleagues not only threatened him and his family but also created indiscipline in the state by allowing MLAs to burn the state animal 'Mithun' in front of Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the governor.

Rajkhowa submitted before the Supreme Court six of his reports sent to the Home Ministry recommending President's Rule in the state, in the sealed cover. On Wednesday, the apex court had directed the governor to submit the reports in order to examine the basis on which the Centre's rule was recommended. According to the report, to which dna has access, soon after the Assembly session on December 16-17 2015 some MLAs has staged a protest and created a disturbance.

"The governor and his family are daily apprehending grave danger to their lives, due to public criticism against him and the frequent gherao of Raj Bhavan premises with shouting of slogans using filthy language. Threats to burn Raj Bhavan, kill Mithun in front of Raj Bhavan and attack the governor and his family are issued through social networking sites in case the court verdict goes against chief minister Nabam Tuki and Speaker Nabam Rebia....." one of the reports, which showed 12 grounds, said.

The governor said he was humiliated from public platforms and in the issuing of statements to the media by government functionaries. The report also cited several instances including the alleged financial mismanagement by the chief minister by awarding contracts without following due procedures.

The governor contended that "Tuki has been encouraging indiscipline, lawlessness by politicising government officials and by inciting and funding Nyishi Elite Society, an apex communal organisation against other tribes...," as stated in the report.
