Nirmohi Akhara, which will get one-third of the disputed land here as per the Allahabad high court's order, today said it was ready to cooperate with another litigant in the title suit - Ramlala Viraajman - for construction of a temple.

"For mutual consent and cooperation for construction of the temple, a senior member of Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas Ram Vilas Vedanti today met me and we had a detailed discussion over the issue," Mahant of Nirmohi Akhara Bhaskar Das said.

He said the Akhara will cooperate provided it gets prominence in whatever arrangements are made for the construction of the temple.

"We are not in favour of construction of a mosque on the Ram Janmabhoomi (disputed) site and if the Muslim Wakf Board challenges the HC order in the Supreme Court then Nirmohi Akhara and Ramlala Viraajman will jointly file a petition," Das said.

Terming the talks as positive, Vedanti said that "67 acre land acquired by the Centre belonged to Ramlala and he would demand that it should be given for the construction of the temple".

The mutual discussion would continue, Das said, adding that when the high court had rejected the suit filed by the Sunni Wakf Board, then there was no justification of giving one-third land to it.

"We are not ready for the construction of the mosque anywhere near Ram Janmabhoomi premises and it should be constructed somewhere else," Das said.

Vedanti said that another litigant Mohd Hashim Ansari had already expressed his views that the dispute should end.

When asked whether he had any discussion with Ansari, Vedanti said he was holding talks with Gyandas of Akhara Parishad.
